Garden Design Process

Step 1 – Site consultation, booked and pre-paid fee, price based on location from our base.

A chance to meet and explore options for the potential project

It’s a good idea before this meeting for client to spend time firming up brief, specifically in terms of:

Function of space
Preferred styles
Inspiration

This will ensure good value for money at the concept stage.

At this first meeting we can discuss the best way forward. We typically break our design fee into small, medium and large garden design, depending on the complexity of the scheme this may vary.

Step 2 – Site Survey if required (this is a GPS Topographical Survey to give an accurate overview of the existing garden).

Step 3 – Drafting of concept drawings – we go away and produce overall concept plan.

Step 4 – Editing (We offer one free edit to adjust the concept, provided it is within reasonable tension with the original brief given by the client. Any other changes will be charged at an hourly rate)

Step 5 – Agreement of plans, costing and appointment of contractors if necessary.

Step 6 – Completion and Maintenance program.
